Introducing CredXVault — The Secure Credential Manager Built for Real Life

Tired of forgetting WiFi passwords, credentials, and confidential data? CredXVault lets you store, manage, and protect everything in one place — encrypted, rate-limited, and IP-protected.

The Problem CredXVault Solves

You've been there. A colleague asks for the office WiFi password. You open WhatsApp, scroll through 200 messages, can't find it — so you walk over to the router and squint at the sticker again.

Or worse: you've rotated a production database password but saved the new one in a Slack DM to yourself. Three months later that Slack workspace gets deactivated.

Credentials live in the wrong places. Notes apps, chat history, sticky notes, browser saved passwords split across three profiles, spreadsheets titled "DO NOT SHARE (passwords).xlsx". It's chaos — and it's a security disaster waiting to happen.

CredXVault was built to fix this.

What Is CredXVault?

CredXVault is a secure credential management platform where you create an account and store all your sensitive data in one protected place:

  • WiFi passwords for home, office, clients
  • Server and database credentials
  • API keys and tokens
  • SSH keys and certificates
  • Software licenses
  • Any confidential data you need to remember

Everything stored in CredXVault is encrypted and hashed — never stored in plaintext. You log in, view your credentials, log out. Come back a week later and it's all still there, protected.

How CredXVault Is Different from a Notes App

A notes app stores your passwords in plaintext. If the app is breached, your notes app account gets phished, or someone looks at your screen — your credentials are exposed.

CredXVault stores credentials with:

  • Hashed storage — credentials are encrypted at rest, never readable as raw text
  • IP protection — suspicious login activity from unknown IPs is flagged and blocked
  • Rate limiting — wrong password attempts are throttled to prevent brute force attacks
  • Account audit log — every login and access attempt is recorded with timestamp and IP
  • Session management — secure logout clears your session completely

This is the difference between a padlock and a bank vault.

The Daily Life Use Cases

At Home Store your home WiFi password, router admin credentials, smart home app logins, and streaming service passwords. No more resetting Netflix every time a family member gets a new phone.

At Work Store team credentials, server access details, deployment keys, and client portal logins. When a team member joins, you share access through CredXVault — not a Slack message that lives forever.

For Freelancers and Developers Store client credentials, staging environment access, API keys per project, and database connection strings. Organized by project, protected by encryption, accessible from anywhere.

For Personal Finance Store account numbers, investment portal credentials, insurance policy numbers, and documents you need occasionally but can't afford to lose.

Security Architecture

CredXVault is built with the same security principles as VaultSends:

IP Protection When you log in from a new IP address, CredXVault tracks it. Repeated failed attempts from an IP trigger automatic blocking — protecting your account even if someone has your password.

Rate Limiting Wrong password attempts are rate-limited at the server level. An attacker cannot brute-force their way through thousands of guesses per second. Each failed attempt adds delay.

Account Activity Logging Every login, failed attempt, credential view, and logout is logged with a timestamp and IP address. You can review your account activity and spot anything suspicious immediately.

Encrypted at Rest Your credentials are never stored in plaintext. The database contains only encrypted, hashed values — even a database breach exposes nothing usable.

VaultSends + CredXVault: Two Tools, One Ecosystem

These two tools solve different but complementary problems:

| Scenario | Right Tool | |----------|-----------| | Share a password with someone once | VaultSends — self-destructing link | | Store your own passwords long-term | CredXVault — encrypted vault | | Share a DB credential with a new dev | VaultSends — expires after they read it | | Keep that DB credential for yourself | CredXVault — permanently stored, encrypted | | Send an API key to a contractor | VaultSends — one-time, no trail | | Store all your API keys organized | CredXVault — managed, searchable vault |

VaultSends is for sending. CredXVault is for storing. Together they cover your entire credential security workflow.

When Is CredXVault Launching?

CredXVault is currently in final development and will be live within the next few days.

The launch version includes: - User account creation and secure login - Credential storage with categories (WiFi, Database, API, SSH, Custom) - IP tracking and brute-force protection - Full account activity log - Clean dashboard for credential management

Head over to try it as soon as it launches.
